Continuing Education
on the Web
Welcome to Continuing Education on the Web. Our purpose is to give the practicing
dentist the opportunity to earn quality, affordable continuing education credit from the
comfort of home and available all of the time ("24 X 7").
Our initial offerings use streaming technology. Streaming technology allows you,
as the student to view a presentation without the need to download the entire file first.
The technology will just "stream" or give it to you as needed. In
other words, no long waiting for downloads!
You will see a slide presentation similar to what you would see in a classroom and you
will hear the lecturer speak, again, as if in a classroom. You need to have RealPlayer installed on your computer, which is freely
downloadable from RealNetworks.

If you want to see the slides magnified, set your screen
resolution to 640 X 480.
The lectures may be viewed at no charge. If you would like
continuing education credit, you must (1) print and complete the test, (2) write a check
for the cost of the course, and mail the above to the following address:
Marletta McKercher
Creighton University School of Dentistry
Continuing Education
2500 California Street
Omaha, NE 68178
Once your test is corrected you will receive documentation by mail.
Creighton is an approved provider by the States of Iowa, Kansas,
Minnesota and South Dakota. continuing education credit has been requested from the
Nebraska Board of Dental Examiners for courses with credit hours listed.

Creighton is an ADA CERP Recognized Provider.
We will be adding more courses as time permits. We hope you enjoy
the lectures and hope you feel that they are valuable to your practice of dentistry.
