Terry F. Lanphier, B.S., D.D.S.
Dr. Lanphier is a 1982 graduate of Creighton
University School of Dentistry and has maintained a private practice
in Omaha since that time. He also serves as the Chief of Dental
Services for the Nebraska Department of Corrections. Dr. Lanphier
joined the faculty of the School of Dentistry in 1995. He is currently
an Assistant Professor in the Department of Oral and Maxillofacial
Surgery.

Timothy P. McVaney, D.D.S., M.S.
Dr. McVaney is a 1974 graduate of the College of
Dentistry at the University of Nebraska, where he also received his
M.S. in Periodontics. He joined the Department of Periodontics at
Creighton University as a part-time clinical faculty member in 1987 at
the rank of Adjunct Professor. In 1997, he became a full-time member
of the Department of Periodontics as an Associate Professor. He served
as Director of Continuing Education from 1992 to 1998. In 2001, he was
appointed as an Associate Professor to the Department of Oral and
Maxillofacial Surgery where he is Course Director for Pain Control and
the Director of the Surgical Section of Implant Dentistry. In
addition, he holds a position as consulting faculty for the University
of Nebraska College of Dentistry. He is a Past-President of the
American Society for Geriatric Dentistry, a Past-Chairman of the
Federation of Special Care Organizations in Dentistry, and a
Past-Chairman of Delta Dental of Nebraska. He continues to maintain a
20 + year private practice in Periodontics in Omaha

David E. Williams, D.D.S.
Dr Williams is an Assistant
Professor of the Department of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. Prior
to joining the Creighton faculty, Dr Williams served with the USAF,
retiring in August 2004 after more than 30 years active duty time. He
served as Chief, Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at Barksdale AFB, LA;
Yokota AB, Japan; RAF Lakenheath, England; and Offutt AFB, NE and
taught for 9 years in AEGD residencies at Barksdale and Offutt. Prior
to entering dental school, Dr Williams was a pilot with the USAF from
1969-1974. Dr Williams received his D.D.S. (1979) from
Northwestern University and completed his residency in oral and
maxillofacial surgery at Wilford Hall Medical Center (1989). His
areas of clinical interest are in orthognathic surgery, reconstructive
surgery, implants and dentoalveolar surgery.
