John S. Mattson, D.D.S., M.S.D.

A 1966 graduate of Creighton University School of Dentistry, Dr. Mattson received his M.S.D. in Periodontology in 1972 from the same university. Dr. Mattson is a Diplomate of the American Board of Periodontology. He joined the faculty of Creighton University School of Dentistry in 1968 and is a past Chair of the Department of Fixed Prosthodontics. He has also served as a faculty member in the former Department of Comprehensive Dental Care. Dr. Mattson currently holds the rank of Professor of Periodontics and serves as Chair of that Department. He also maintains a part-time practice in Omaha that is limited to periodontics.

Ms. Sharon M. Daly, B.S., R.D.H.

Ms. Daly is originally from Nenzel, Nebraska. She received her B.S. / R.D.H. degree from Marquette University in 1970. She joined the faculty of the School of Dentistry in 1991 and is currently an Instructor in the Department of Periodontics.

Raymond F. Olmo, D.D.S., M.S.

Dr Olmo was born in San Francisco, California and was raised in San Jose, California. He attended the University of California at Berkeley and majored in chemical engineering. Dr. Olmo received his D.D.S. degree from the University of California at San Francisco School of Dentistry in 1965. Following graduation, he entered the U.S. Air Force and was stationed at Offutt Air Force Base in Omaha from 1965 to 1967. He earned his M.S. degree and Certificate in Periodontics from the University of Nebraska College of Dentistry in 1969. Dr. Olmo then entered private practice in Santa Rosa, California for ten years before joining the faculty of the School of Dentistry on a part-time basis in 1979. He also established a private practice in Omaha at that time and continues to maintain it today. Dr. Olmo became a full-time member of the Department of Periodontics in 1999 and is currently an Associate Professor.

Lawrence C. Parrish, B.S., D.D.S., M.S.

Dr. Parrish was born and raised in California.  He attended U.C.L.A., gaining a B.S. degree in Biochemistry in 1973.  He entered Loyola University, Chicago College of Dental Surgery in 1973 and was awarded a Health Professions Scholarship from the U. S. Air Force in 1974.  Dr. Parrish graduated from Loyola University with a D.D.S. degree in 1977.  He completed a General Practice Residency in 1978 and a Periodontics Residency in 1985.  The latter earned him an M.S. degree from the University of Texas, San Antonio.  Dr. Parrish became board certified by the American Board of Periodontology in 1990.  He retired from the U. S. Air Force with the rank of Colonel in 2002 and joined the faculty of the School of Dentistry that same year.  He is currently an Associate Professor of Periodontics and is the director of the second-year periodontic curriculum.

Christine S. Wagman, R.D.H., B.S.

Ms. Wagman is a 1991 dental hygiene graduate from the University of Nebraska Medical Center College of Dentistry. Ms. Wagman joined the faculty of the School of Dentistry in 1992 and is an Instructor in the Department of Periodontics.
