Jared H. Smith, D.D.S., M.S., F.A.C.D.

A 1966 dental graduate of the University of Missouri at Kansas City, Dr. Smith received his M.S. in Prosthodontics from the University of North Carolina in 1973.  In 1988, Dr. Smith came to Creighton after retiring from the U. S. Air Force with the rank of Colonel.  Dr. Smith is an Associate Professor in and Chair of the Department of Prosthodontics.

Dr. Smith serves as a consultant in removable prosthodontics for the VA Medical Center in Omaha, Nebraska and the AEGD residency at the University of Missouri at Kansas City School of Dentistry. He enjoys membership in Omicron Kappa Upsilon, the dental honor society, as well as Alpha Sigma Nu, the Jesuit honor society. Dr. Smith is a Fellow in the American College of Dentists.

Gerald C. Brundo, B.S., D.D.S., M.A., F.A.C.D.

Dr. Brundo is a 1965 graduate of Loyola University Los Angeles, a 1969 graduate of Creighton University's School of Dentistry, and served two years as Captain in the U. S. Army Dental Corps. In 1974 he received his Master's Degree in Educational Psychology from California State University Los Angeles. From 1971 to 1984 he was on faculty at UCLA's School of Dentistry in Removable Prosthodontics and was Assistant Dean for Academic Affairs. In 1984 Dr. Brundo became the Dean of Creighton University's School of Dentistry, serving ten years until 1994 when he was promoted to Dean Emeritus of the School and returned to teaching. Dr. Brundo is Professor of Prosthodontics, a member of Omicron Kappa Upsilon Honor Society in Dentistry, Kappa Delta Pi Honor Society in Education, and a Fellow of the American College of Dentists.

Gregory L. Davis, B.A., D.D.S.

Dr. Davis is a native of Omaha, Nebraska. He received his B.A. in biology from the University of Nebraska at Omaha in 1975. He earned his D.D.S. from Creighton University in 1979. He is currently an Assistant Professor of Prosthodontics. In addition to his teaching responsibilities, Dr. Davis maintains a private practice in general dentistry in Omaha.

Scott C. Di Lorenzo, D.D.S.

 

Dr. Di Lorenzo is a 1977 dental graduate of Creighton University and a two-year general dentistry residency graduate from Wilford Hall Medical Center in San Antonio, Texas. He is also a Diplomate of the Federal Services Board of General Dentistry. Dr. Di Lorenzo joined the faculty of the School of Dentistry in 1998 after retiring from the U. S. Air Force with the rank of Colonel. Currently, he is an Assistant Professor of Prosthodontics.

Thomas R. Meng, Jr., B.A., D.D.S.

A 1977 dental graduate of Temple University, Dr. Meng received his prosthodontic training at the University of Texas San Antonio Health Science Center. Dr. Meng joined Creighton’s faculty in 1998 after serving in the U.S. Air Force for 23 years, retiring with the rank of Colonel. Dr. Meng is Assistant Professor of Prosthodontics and Assistant Clinic Director.

Dennis Nilsson, D.D.S., M.S., F.A.C.P., F.A.C.D.

A 1971 dental graduate of the University of Minnesota, Dr. Nilsson is a Diplomate of the American Board of Prosthodontics. Dr. Nilsson joined the faculty of the Dental School after having served in the U. S. Air Force, retiring with the rank of Colonel. Dr. Nilsson is an Associate Professor of Prosthodontics and is the course director for Complete Denture Prosthodontics. He also maintains a private practice limited to prosthodontics.

James L. Sheets, B.A., D.D.S., F.A.C.P.

Dr. Sheets received his D.D.S. degree from the University of California, San Francisco in 1978.  He obtained his prosthodontic training at the University of Texas Health Sciences Center, San Antonio and at Wilford Hall USAF Medical Center.  He is a Diplomate of the American Board of Prosthodontics.  Dr. Sheets joined the Creighton University School of Dentistry faculty in 2000 after retiring from the U. S. Air Force Dental Corps.  He is currently an Associate Professor of Prosthodontics and is the director of the junior-year Fixed Prosthodontic didactic curriculum.

Randy E. Stout, B.S., D.D.S.

Dr. Stout is from San Leandro, California, He received his B.S. in Biology from Creighton University in 1977. In 1982, he earned his D.D.S. also from Creighton University. In addition to being full-time in our clinics, Dr. Stout maintains a private practice in Omaha, Nebraska and is a dentist for the State of Nebraska Correctional System.

Charles W. Wilcox, D.D.S., M.S., F.A.C.P.

A 1972 dental graduate of the University of Nebraska, Dr. Wilcox is a Diplomate of the American Board of Prosthodontics. Dr. Wilcox joined the Creighton University School of Dentistry faculty after having served 23 years in the United States Air Force, retiring with the rank of Colonel. An Associate Professor of Prosthodontics, Dr. Wilcox directs and coordinates implant dental services performed at the School and is the director of the freshman level occlusion course. He also maintains a private practice limited to prosthodontics in Omaha.

Terry M. Wilwerding, D.D.S., M.S.

Dr. Wilwerding grew up in Omaha, Nebraska and graduated from Creighton University School of Dentistry in 1977. He has been a faculty member since 1980 and has taught in the former Department of Fixed Prosthodontics and the current Department of Prosthodontics where he holds the rank of Associate Professor. Dr Wilwerding is the director of both the Dental History course and the preclinical Fixed Prosthodontic curriculum. He also supervises the Indian Chicano evening clinics. Dr. Wilwerding received a Masters Degree in Education Administration from Creighton University in 2000. He also maintains a private practice in Omaha.
