See the Classroom and LaboratoriesOur classrooms and laboratories have also been renovated. This is the sophomore laboratory located on the third floor of the
building. In this view you are looking from the front of the room towards the back, and
the picture shows about one-third of the lab.. It is very spacious, well designed for easy
faculty access to help with student projects, and is equipped with modern technology. Some
faculty use computer presentations which are displayed on the new monitors located
throughout the lab. This is the same laboratory looking from the back of the room. Notice
the number of monitors provided for easy viewing. The classrooms were rennovated in June and July of1995. All rooms have
new carpeting and ceilings. The big white area that is seen above the blackboard was
constructed to view slides. Each classroom is equiped with a state of the art projection system
mounted in the ceiling. Of course, each classroom has the obligatory slide projectors. Clinical
slides and illustrations are used extensively in lectures by dental faculty. Hey! You can't go to class all the time! This is Sara's Place,
the school lunch room named in honor of the late Sara Susman, who as a faculty member
always provided refreshments for her students. |
