Positions Available Oral Maxillofacial Radiologist Creighton University School of Dentistry is seeking a dynamic individual who can promote and contribute to the ongoing growth and development of a contemporary curriculum, exceptional clinical program and rapidly emerging research profile in all facets of diagnostic imaging. The School of Dentistry is fully equipped for intraoral and extraoral digital radiography as well as high resolution CT. Digital imaging is integrated with a new clinical operating system that offers clinic-wide chairside access. The School has developed the Oral and Maxillofacial Imaging Center which serves patient populations from the dental school, Creighton University Medical Center as well as the private sector. Candidates must have a DDS/DMD degree from an ADA accredited institution and be licensed or eligible for licensure in the state of Nebraska. Board Certification or eligibility for Board Certification in Oral and Maxillofacial Radiology is required. Additional training and or qualifications in the areas of Oral Pathology or Oral Medicine are highly desirable. This is a tenure track position and will require academic appointment at the Assistant, Associate or Professor level. Oral Maxillofacial Prosthodontist Creighton University School of Dentistry, Omaha, Nebraska, is seeking a dynamic individual to support an exceptional clinical prosthodontic program, contemporary curriculum and an emerging research profile. Primary appointment will be in the Department of Prosthodontics teaching pre-doctoral students. Additional responsibilities will include the development of a collaborative working relationship with area surgeons, oncology teams and other care providers; and, also participate in the study, planning and development of additional programming in alignment with the goals of the School and University. Understanding of the mission and purpose of the School of Dentistry and the identity of Creighton as a premiere Jesuit, Catholic university is necessary. Candidates must have a DDS/DMD degree from an ADA accredited institution and be licensed or eligible for licensure in the state of Nebraska. Oral Pathologist Creighton University, a Catholic, Jesuit institution, located in Omaha, Nebraska is seeking a full-time Oral Pathologist. This is a tenure track position at the Assistant/Associate Professor level. The position requires a faculty-scholar who will be engaged in the full scope of teaching, research/creative scholarly activity and service. Chair of the Department of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Creighton University, a Catholic, Jesuit institution, located in Omaha, Nebraska is seeking a dynamic clinician educator to serve as Chair of the Department of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. Responsibilities of this position include management of the academic and clinical activities of the department and enhancing the department’s education and research activities. The position will be available July 1, 2007. Administrative responsibilities include directing the pre-doctoral educational program and supervision of the outpatient oral surgery clinic. Qualifications include a dental degree, completion of an ADA accredited advanced educational program in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery and a record of accomplishment in teaching and scholarly activity, consistent with appointment at the rank of Associate Professor/Professor. A Nebraska dental license is required, Board certification is highly desirable. Active medical staff appointment to the Creighton University Medical Center hospital (St. Joseph Hospital) is expected.
