  • Phi = Golden Ratio
  • This “Golden Ratio” seems to play a central role in how we view the world esthetically.

  • See the ratio in nature
    • Florets of the daisy (and of a sunflower as well) grow in two spirals extending out from the center. The first spiral has 21 arms, while the other has 34.
    • A pineapple has three arms of 5, 8, and 13

  • The front two incisor teeth form a golden rectangle, with a phi ratio in the height to the width.
  • The ratio of the width of the first tooth to the second tooth from the center is also phi.
